Bring your own SIP trunk and OpenAI key

Kaleso places calls through the SIP provider you already use (Twilio, Zadarma, or any provider that speaks SIP) and talks to the caller with your own OpenAI account. Your carrier bills you for minutes and OpenAI bills you for the AI, at their own rates, with no markup from us.

The Kaleso plan covers the platform: placing and managing calls, the API, and a history of every call with its SIP steps so you can see exactly what happened.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a call?

Every call Kaleso dials for you counts once, whether it is answered, rings out, or is rejected by the other side. Attempts refused before dialing, for example because you are over a limit, don't count. The count is per calendar month (UTC) and resets on the 1st.

What happens when I reach my monthly limit?

New calls are refused with a clear message (HTTP 403, NOT_ENTITLED) until the count resets on the 1st. Calls already in progress are not cut off. Need more? Contact us and we'll raise your limit.

How many calls can run at the same time?

Basic allows 1 call at a time. A second call is refused (HTTP 429) until the first ends. Enterprise limits are agreed with you.

Can I switch to annual billing?

Yes, at any time. Choose Basic (annual) in your account's Settings, or contact us, and we'll switch you over. Annual billing is $190 a year, which is two months free.

How do I pay?

Billing is handled by hand for now. Sign up and choose a plan, and we'll email you to arrange payment and activate your account.

Do you charge for SIP minutes or OpenAI usage?

No. Those are billed directly by your SIP provider and OpenAI, because you use your own accounts with them.
